LEAGUE UPDATES

06/30/2025:

Hey folks, quick update!

We have been hard at work taking the feedback and ensuring everything is baked in for this summer test as it should be.  The good news is that everything is working as expected! But to ensure that there is no regression from all these updates we are making fast and furiously, we are going to hold a week or 2 before rolling this out, to complete our internal testing.

Nice thing with this is you get to start league, and we can seamless bring this in after verification is fully done with your current ratings in place!  We will continue to keep you all in the loop and happy to answer any questions you may have!

So please keep signing up for the new software NS League Admin New  for your player account and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to turn this over to everyone here very soon!

Note: You will see instructions in your packets to sign up on the new site, please continue to do so. This will just make it that much easier for testing as soon as it’s out!

It’s Time. 

Time for Medalist to bring our software back to where it belongs, in house! We internally and with other locations’ help, have been testing the software to the point that we can’t test it anymore in our bubble.

We need your help! With summer league starting the week of July 8th, we are going to roll out the software to run the league on. Does this scare us? Yep, but we know with everyone’s help, the final bugs and clean up can be done, and done quickly. What does this mean for you, the dart players? A chance to help finish up the software, to address what may be lacking, and take this in the direction everyone has wanted, and to make the program the best we can.
With all new things comes change, and change is never easy. We have strived to make it easy for all but we also are taking personal information protection very seriously! Some new things you will see:

1. New way to log into a match – currently you have a card, but we are moving to using a QR code to sign into your league match! You can individually sign in, or the team captain can sign the whole team in!

2. You can play your league matches anytime – If you want to play all 10 weeks at once you could, 2 weeks at a time, could do that as well! We don’t care how you play the matches, just that you can when you want to!

These are just a couple quick things to name a few.
Where are we headed? The goal with the software is to get league out to you the players. Bringing this control of the software back inhouse allows us to update, adjust and continually add and adjust for the betterment of all! After that Remote play and updated tournament software are on the plate! We want to make it super easy at state to play your matches, report your stats and ensure complete accuracy from end to end! This is not the end, more to come as we move past these items!
The biggest question will be, “Are we going to have issues”? Yes, there will be issues that will pop up that our current testing hasn’t uncovered, and that’s ok, that is what we need to find and correct! This is the stress test that is needed, the one that will allow us to roll this out league wide and bring a better experience moving forward. Another question will be “Will this affect anyone going to state”? The answer to that is No, this will not affect anyone going to state.
To draw this to a close, all we asked is to head into this with an open mind, give us all the feedback, good, bad, or ugly. Give us suggestions of things you’d like to see changed, updated, etc. We may not act on all of them right away, but we are keeping a list to address as we move forward with the next iterations of the software!
